Philip Glass Ensemble Music Director Michael Riesman leads 3A in this hypnotic soundtrack for string quartet and two grand pianos.

Fahad Siadat’s SAMĀ is inspired by the Sufi practice of Sama (listening), a form of holy remembrance of the divine. This new multidisciplinary work harnesses music and movement to attain an ecstatic, trance-like state through voice, percussion, live-electronic processing, dance, and projections.
