Mr. Blessinger, a violinist, received a bachelor’s degree from the Oberlin Conservatory and a master’s degree with distinction in performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. He has been the Artistic Director of Third Angle for 10 years and has performed with the ensemble for 14 years. He has been a violinist with the Oregon Symphony since 1990 and has served as Concertmaster of the Peter Britt Festival Orchestra and Cascade Festival of Music Orchestra under Murry Sidlin. The Artistic Director is responsible for artistic quality and is the ambassador of the Third Angle mission.  Mr. Blessinger is responsible for programming, directing rehearsals, fielding inquiries from artists and arts groups, researching works, composers and artists for performance, writing grants, planning and organizing the season, pursuing recording and broadcast opportunities.

Ms. Volle is a former musician turned arts administrator. She has worked for two other arts groups in Portland, Friends of Chamber Music and Portland Piano International, as well as summer music festivals around the U.S. The Executive Director is responsible for managing the office and concert production. Some of Ms. Volle’s key responsibilities include all the logistics associated with concerts, ticketing, contracting, maintaining financial records,  accounts receivable/accounts payable, marketing and fundraising.

Sarah Tiedemann

Ms. Tiedemann is a flutist and arts administrator, and joined the Third Angle team in December 2014. She holds degrees from Oberlin Conservatory and New England Conservatory, and also attended the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, Sweden. A member of the Oregon Ballet Theatre Orchestra and Salem Chamber Orchestra, she previously served as Communications & Marketing Director for Chamber Music Northwest. Ms. Tiedemann’s responsibilities include donor and ticketholder communications, assisting with marketing and social media, preparing artists’ contracts, and coordinating volunteers.
